About a month or so ago, I noticed a whitish growth or spot between the eyes of my red severum that had not been there before. I chalked it up to a scrape/injury from going at it with my turquoise severum, as I noticed they had been fighting more frequently than before. I figured it would heal up on its own. A month later, while it does look better, it is still not back to normal. I just want to make sure it is not something more serious and if it is, I want to be able to treat it properly. All of the other fish in the tank are healthy and water parameters are perfect. Here are some pictures I took (the best I could do since he is camera shy) to hopefully help diagnose the problem.

The area looks a little fuzzy.... if it is spreading it is probably fungal. I would bump up the temp and add salt. If that doesn't do it, maybe an antifungal medication.
