Ok so I have an 8" Lung and was wondering if there is anything that can be housed with it for now in My 75 gallon, Just for now not permanent.
Just its a showish tank in my living room, and he is pretty boring for the most part,
I would love to put a spotted Gar in there for now, just to add to the top of the tank.
Plus my Lung is usually in hiding in the Rocks.
If you guys think this is totally unreasonable I would understand
Thanks as usual!

ive heard they can snap and kill everything but I kept mine with a RTC, RTCxTSN and a Peacock Bass and they all did fine

plecostomus! i had mine with silver arow - large cichlids and eventually it killed them all. only thing that survived was the plec - i have heard knife fish can work though....

excellent bushy nose it is!, Perhaps if i can find a decent sized ghost knife or clown, that would add some nice top viewing, (not the ghost of course)

Btw this is the best fish, these guys are ugly as sin! What do you think about keeping a bichir or what would be a good fish for a 75 gallon that spends most its time near the top of the tank?

If you want something short term and cool for the top (note they'd get eaten eventually) but butterfly fish would be cool.

imo birchirs are a no! my WAL killed 3 polys - even top dwelling fish get munched as the lung comes up for air - mine bit my aro in half :irked: how about african knife?
