Anything wrong with feeding dats only pellets?

I got my dats to eat massivore and cichlid gold a few months ago and that's about all I feed them now. I used to give them bloodworms but it's so much easier to pick up the bag and drop a few pellets at a time into the tank than to wait for the worms to thaw out. I guess I'm kinda lazy like that.

Are they missing any important nutrients if I don't give them worms or shrimp? And will it affect their growth rate at all if I just feed them pellets? They're juvie dats right now.

usually i hear theyre generally not too picky as far as what they eat. ive also heard its a challenge to convert them to pellets.

i suppose pellets being their main diet would be pretty good. it is after all scientifically formulated blah blah...but the real-deal food is always a good treat hard to beat nature tho, so i would say alternate a bit or something to get the wide-spectrum. good to have variety

Pellets as a staple is about as good as it gets. Far better than feeders or bloodworms.
