API freshwater master tests

I got a test kit and it came with the color cards but no instruction looking things.
I am looking at the back and there are clocks on them but some tests you have to wait and others they appear instantly?

Also, I have API freshwater salt in my tank but can i still use the freshwater tests?
what about brackish tanks?

PH- add 3 drops, shake and compare
High range ph- add 5 drops, shake compare
Ammonia- 8 drops from #1, 8 drops from #2, shake wait 5 minutes.
Nitrite-5 drops,shake 5 seconds, wait 5 minutes
Nitrate-10 drops from #1, shake # 2 for 30 seconds, add 10 drops, shake for one minute, wait 5 minutes.
If you are adding aquarium salt it should not effect the tests at all.

now what about brackish tanks and freshwater hospital tanks(with more salt)

Aquarium salt should not make a difference in the basic tests. Ph, nitrites, nitrates should not be affected by marine salt. You may be using the high range ph test for your brackish tank but that should be the only difference.
