Well on my previous thread i had pretty much diagnosed an anchor worm issue on one of my green sunfish. API general cure was recommended all around so i looked on Amazon and sure enough on the front of the box there is a photo of anchor worms and it claims to treat anchor worm in bold white letters. I decided that i didnt want to wait for shipping and start treatment asap so i went to a lfs. Well the box of API general cure at the fish store looked almost identical to the box on amazon only anchor worm was not picture nor listed in the list of parasites that the med's treat. Needless to say i am slightly confused. Does API general cure treat anchor worm? Do i need to use something else? I removed the anchor worm with tweezers and the fish is doing well. I am dosing will melafix because he had a big red mark where i removed the worm. It looked quite better today.
