api salt dosage for tats,cudas,ect?

i have tats, barracudas and other charicins as well as a juruense cat in my tank and might have to treat the tank with api salt for disease so do i do half of normal salt dosage or wat for them?

I usually go eith 1tbsp /5 gallons as a general tonic, just to help with osmoregulation,,a little more if your treating wounds etc..
