Started using a week back so I have doubts. Is it safe. If anyone has any bad experience, plz share.
Earlier i use to store water for 4-5 days and then wud carry on siphoning or water change without de-clorination. The advice of using API came from my LFS. He explained me how it is important to de-clorinate and remove the unwanted chemicals and metal from the same, inspite of storing it for 5days.( in other words using stale water). I always thought that water staleing wud remove all the unwanted chemicals by making it soft and so I never used any de-chlorinater or water conditioners.

Now by using API,water change has become a lot easier.(no lifting buckets). I now straight add tap water to my aquarium after siphoning out dirt and adding the conditioner. If any other method please suggest. Thx in advance :)

Totally safe IMO, I do this also(I'm sure almost everyone does). In addition to that I add API Aquarium Salt as well, which is like vitamins to fish.
