As some of you may have gathered, I have a small hatchery for breeding several fish, and my prize are some Apistogramma Cacatuoides. I know these fish as a whole are fairly unprized, but the grand-parents of the current generation were caught wild circa 1998 and I have established a healthy breeding strain since.

I sell to many of the fish stores around where I live, and I am trying to expand seeing as how it is easier to find "dedicated" fish keepers on the various forums I am part of than selling to stores who would rather buy cheap than quality.

I can and will provided pictures soon, as well as background information about the group. I am merely trying to see whether it will be worth my time as of yet.

The top harems of each generation will be sold out (1 male and either 2 or 3 females depending of preference) for $60-$80 and the rest of the juvies will go for around. $15 a piece. They sell retail for $40 a piece.

FYI fully sexed adult cac's usually run around $15 for a pair, not proven breeders or anything, though.

While they may be expensive at the LFS, online they're fairly cheap - you may want to reconsider your juvie pricing.

The breeding harems, though - are a good deal.

I have yet to see this strain run as cheap as I am offering online or off.

Not as flashy as some of the tank bred strains, but beatiful in it's own way.

Cass, I went ahead and PM'd you where you can find them for the prices I'm listing - I'm not trying to put you down or anything here, just notifying you that you may get more of a response by offering bulk discounts on the juvies ect.
