apistogramma & pleco

I have 1 pair of apistogramma cacatuoides and 3 albino bushy nose in a 20 long planted tank. Will the apistos able to keep the pleco from eating the egg if they decide to breed?

prolly not. if you want them to successfully spawn, remove the plecos

The plecos will have the advantage at night, imo.
And they will keep at it, they really like eggs...
