Hello! I'll be moving across Canada for school in a couple months, and sadly have to leave my beloved goldfish at my parents shop. However, I am looking forward to possibly keeping fish in my dorm/apartment (if it is permitted, of course). I am particularily interested in keeping some Apistos and Mikrogeophagus ramirezi due to their size and availability. I do have some limited experience with Rams from back when we kept tropicals, but I've never had Apistos. Are there any paticular species that are best to start with? Prefereably ones that can be kept as a pair in around 10-20 Gallons?
