Apistogramma with dwarf pike cichlid?

I got a 20 high about 2 weeks ago and I've been cycling it and I was wondering if a dwarf pike cichlid would be ok in there with a pair of apistogrammas. I think it would be ok seeing as they are in different areas of the tank and they will be around the same size, but I wasn't sure, what do you guys think

You can get away with the smaller pikes but get adult apistogrammas. The pikes will eat the fry and eggs for sure.

The only issue i see is that the pikes will need a larger tank space.
