along with rams...im going to attempt to breed two species of Apisto's. im thinking from these three species. Apistogramma Cacatuoides, Apistogramma hongsloi Rotstrich, or Apistogramma baenschi because i think those are the most beautiful. i would love any advice from apisto breeders. from how hard certain species are to breed, to water parameters, to breeding requirments (like angels needing hard plants). apisto experts i would also like to know your favorite species and why :) thanks in advance

P.S. is a 20 long and a 29 standard good enough to breed in?

I have bred cockatoo apistos in a 35g planted tank divided into 3 sections with plants, rock piles, and a peice of driftwood, there were three pairs. It was not so much that I was breeding them as it was that they just bred on their own.

ok thanks for the input guppy :)

Cockatoos are really easy to breed. Since they've been in the Apistophile arsenal for so long, they're adapatable and spawn at the drop of a dime. They'd be a good starting point. Other's that are easily bred would be Apistogramma Borelli and A. Trifasciata. Any of the varietys. Right now I'm working with A. sp. 'Pebas' and it's looking promising after just one month.
