Apple snail food recipes OK for Ramshorns?

Is the food suggestions in the sticky OK for Ramshorns as well?

I have been feeding all types of veggie scrapes and cuttings from my tank as food.
My tap water is pretty hard, do I need to add calcium for them?

They are just feeders, but I want to offer my fish healthy snacks....

If your water is hard, you should not need to add supplemental calcium. Are you noticing any erosion?

Erosion, I ahve not noticed any, but I also have not payed that close of attention to the shells. I had mystery snails for several months and did not notice any erosion. I am assuming the hard water is suffice...

Is the diet OK?

the food is fine If youw ere interested in a pelleted diet, www.kensfish.com makes a vegetable stick with supplemental calcium that he formulated for me to feed invertebrates. It does not have any preservatives and is a complete diet for snails.
