apple snails and plecos for aro cleanup crew?

i just purchased a 4 inch pleco and five large apple snails, will these fish help with the cleanup of six juvenile silver aros or do more harm than good?

IMO pleco add more poop then the food they clean up. With your temporary housing you'd be best to not add any more bioload.

first and foremost, plecos will definitely clean.
but please keep in mind, plecos need more food than just scraps.
they need a proper diet.

in saying that, plecos poo alot!
but to clean up uneated food - they are great.
remember, uneaten food product much more toxins than waste from a fish taht has eated the same amount of food.

so plecos is better to clean up than leaving food uneated
