Apurensis Catfish Update

It's been 3 months since i got Beavis, as a replacement for my favorite gulper who just died. Never thought id quite love him as much or even more than the gulper, especially that apurensis are less outgoing and basically just sit there all day unless they wanna eat. But they do grow on you. And right now, Beavis is my favorite fish. He's just this loveable grumpy meanie of a fish full of personality and ugly ugly charm hahaha

Got him at 7-8 inches 3 months ago. Now, he's nearly 14 and is still growing. And feeding....a lot. Hope you like the pics

Looks good! Just like my bullhead, sit around all day pretty much motionless until it's feeding time then you're their best friend

Yep haha sometimes he even snaps at me. Unless im holding a piece of fish as an offering. Lazy and temperamental bastards these guys

Yeah, he kinda reminds me of the slogan from the movie small soldiers "everything else is just a toy" in beavis's case..."everything else is just food" hahahaha i was never really successful in keeping other fish with him.
