Aqua Bridge Tank Setup Upgrade

I have a 3 Tank setup with Aqua Bridges connecting the tanks so that the Fish can migrate from Tank to Tank.

I am getting ready to Upgrade the setup by replacing the 40 Gallon tank with a 75 Gallon tank.
Along with replacing the tank I will also be upgrading the PVC Overflow and Return pump.

for the bridges you should use clear acrylic so you can see the fish swim back and forth. something like this:

That was my Original plan.
But due to Financial Constraints I had to stick with Standard PVC Tubing.
In time I will replace the Standard PVC with the Clear PVC.

Today I will finish the assembly of the PVC Overflow ang get the 40 gallon ready to be replaced with a 75 gallon in the Aqua Bridge Tank group setup.

I did this and ended up losing fish, a fish that was a might bit to big went in...I got him out, but he was not a happy camper. I also had a power head circulating the water between the 2.

Would try again, but only with smaller community fish.

I am sorry to hear that you had lost fish with your last attempt.
I wish you luck if you do decide to make another attempt at it again. I (knock on wood) have not lost any fish due to the Aqua Bridge setup directly. I do plan on upgrading the Bridges to 4" in the future if need be. When I do that I will also be going to the clear PVC when I do.

Evening Update:I was not able to get the Tanks moved like I wanted to today but I did get the PVC Overflow Painted.Here are a few Pictures.

Tomorrow I will be working on breaking down the 40 Gallon and getting it off the Stand. That is if my Help arrives. Thanks for stopping by for a look.
