has anyone got this??? i just got one i have never had one before and i need it for my stingrays! any tips or advise like do i have to add any water conditioner with the water before i put it in the tank or what???? thanks

You will need to reminralise the water before you add it to the tank,as RO strips everything out of the water, you could do this by adding some of the waste water back to the RO until you get the water conditions you want or by using something like Kent RO Right to replace essential elements back into the water.
If the unit is not new,if new disgard to first 5-10 gallons of water produced, you may need to replace some or all of the filters, which with the aqua medic is a bit more expensive than a standard RO unit as it only takes their filters not the standard 10" filters that most RO units take. Also I hope you are not on a water meter as it can get expensive as the rejection rate will be around 95%.the producton rate stated may vary depending on the temperature of the incoming water and also the pressure most are rated at 15 degrees C and 4 bar or 58 PSI,so if you have less than either of those your production will not be 150 liters a day
