So I have always used this as my water conditioner when changing water, to remove chlorine, etc. But my question is, it states to make sure both the water your adding are the same temperature, but why.......if it dechlorinates "in seconds" then there shouldn't be a problem to add the condition water into the tank via it being different temperature with no issues correct? Also if I do more than a 50% water change, I usually like adding the water directly into the tank and then adding the conditioner afterwards, since the water should reach an equilibrium when mixed together.I have always disregarded this part and so far have had no issues, but I would like to know the reasoning behind it.

Probably just so the aquarist isn't adding straight cold water or too warm water to the tank, they just want you to add a similar temperature water as your aquarium has.
