Aqua Ultima II, are they the bomb?

I am thinking of purchasing an Ultima II 4000 or 6000 and want to know if they are good filters for handling a 2000g tank?
Any Ultima users with advice?

Hi there Ramesh..... I have seen many Monster tanks on this forum and more than one of them had the Ultima II filters on their tanks and they were very pleased...

For a 2000gal tank I would go with the 6000....IMO.

In my case...I have two seperate tank systems which add up to about
a 1000 gal each...on each of these systems I have the
"Advantage Bead 5"....they look very impressive...I have a half horse power
.....high flow pump on each (I have many fittings so my head is higher)....
The advantage of this filter as compared to the Ultima II are compared on the wed sites below.....but the Ultimas are less expensive...

Check out "Koi Market" or "Sacramento Koi" and you will see what I'm
talking about.......good luck.............

I am looking at them as well for my 700gl. Which one would you suggest to get for that size?

I have an Ultima II 4000k on my 480. It does a great job. I'd recommend getting it.
