Aquabid Betta's

has anyone ever bought any Betta's on Aquabid? I have a pay pal account and I want these two Betta's:



I believe they're from the same brood. The male is a labeled as a HMPK does the fact that he has some crown tail looking point matter for this? What would YOU label him as? Is he pretty to you?
He's 3 months old as of june so 3.5 now. The second one I don't know much about yet. Other than she looks to be of the same brood.
He said that "The father was a double tail halmoon plakat, making him 50% heterogeneous for double tail. In theory, if he were to be bred to his sister you could possibly have 50% of the spawn be double tails as well.

The 27 includes shipping. So I'm thinking it's a good buy. I've been wanting a DT HMPK for a while now. I was thinking though if you had two Betta's with the 50% heterogeneous wouldn't 1 in 4 be DT HMPK not 1 in 2? I dunno. Do you think this is a good buy?

I don't know a thing about bettas but he looks cool. Id say if you like them buy them. Paying should be easy. There should be a section where you just enter the sellers email adress to send them the payment.

They look nice and if you're planning on breeding, I'd say go for it. I believe as far as simple genetics go it should be a 1 in 4 chance, but with about 200 fry per brood, I really wouldn't worry too much. As for names, what's your style? I'm terrible at naming fish but i would probably go along the lines of Ice or Frost for the male and for some odd reason, the female seems to be named Clarice in my mind.

Clarice is an excellent name for the female. I want a "Kingly" name for the male Clarice is a good queen name

Those three seem to stand out to me.
I would say Charles, but I don't think it fits him.
I know Esquire isn't really a name, it just sounded good. Lol.
