I was just wandering around on aquabid and saw a bunch of "polkadot" (leos) rays selling for $100-$300. All of the auctions are ending soon with no bids and the reserves haven't been met, so this seems kind of scammy to me although the person has a lot of great feedback. Has anyone else become curious of these sales? If they are legit and the reserves aren't too high, my lady is getting one as an early birthday gift!

i emailed the seller he has not responded. they are in Thailand and uses a transhipper out of florida.

so yes i was curious but without coorespondence i woukdnt get involved. also most polka dots are not stright leo from thailand fyi.

buy from trev and be sure in my opinion.

I didn't get a response either. I clicked on the link for the trans shipper and it is a dead link. If it's too good to be true........

Ya I emailed as well got no responce, too bad stuff like that will stay on there forever and just be junk.

i went back n forth before with a few sellers posting the same stuff. i ended up backing out cuz they wouldnt twll me a species or anything. he would just keep saying "polka dot rays" or "brown rays" and made me nervous he couldnt tell me a scientific name of the species he was selling

Well I got an Email back from the seller with pics of rays that I was intersted about.

He emailed me as well. The one I was interested in had a reserve of $1,400 but the mininum bid required was $399. It's slightly confusing but he is a valid seller.
