Does anybody have experience ordering from Yue Hu on aquabid.com? I am thinking about buying 20 angels (pearlscale albino, platinum, pearlscale ghost and silver). I dont want to spend over $100 (including shipping) for crappy fish.
And would anyone happen to know good angelfish/discus breeders in NH/MA? Paying more for shipping than the fish is ridiculous. Thanks!
 
Yes i have ordered from him before. he has nice fish but he doesnt seem to cull his fish. I got alot of really nice fish but also quite a few of fish with missing or deformed front fins on the angels. Even some of his breeding pairs have deformed fins. But i told him i had some deformed fish and he happily sent me more perfect finned fish the next day for free. Just ask him to make sure you get good finned fish and Im sure he will do his best.
 
He shipped me 30 angels for $18 i believe. He will ship any method you choose and sent them to me priority, they all arrived safe and healthy
 
I think it was like $59 for shipping but i do not remember where he is located and if it was fair or not but i didnt want to pay that much shipping for a couple of fish.
 
So it should be $125 shipped for 6 platinums, 4 pearlscale albinos, 4 pearl silver veils, 4 pearl silver ghosts, and 4 silvers. I can't find any of these varieties anywhere near me (NH/MA), so this seems to be my only choice. Does this seem like an alright price for these fish? Shipping is $55, so that is a huge part of the total.
 
Hi,, Have you checked out angelsplus.com.. Steve has been around shipping out quality angels for quite some time and he's in upstate NewYork so the shipping might be ok. HTH Sue
