Has anyone bought fish from someone on aquabid before? How was your experience.

Usually, I tried to stick with local hobbyist or LFS in my area where I can actually see the fish in person before dropping any $$ down.
Is it pretty safe to buy something from aquabid when paying with paypal? Isn’t there some sort of buyer protection or something.

several mfk vendors are on aquabid. I have had good exp but only buy from sellers with feedback from several different buyers. Beware of sellers w zero feedback offering deals to good to be true.

Grey (wetspotcx) is a seller on Aquabid, he sells for the Wet Spot part of Cichlid Exchange, great guy. I've bought from him several times, and each time I have been more than satisfied.

I've been buying off of Aquabid for years now, and so far have had only positive experiences. You just have to do your research and use common knowledge when buying. Take the time to read feedback, it can be very helpful in making a decision.

Some things you can only get by ordering online, so you just have to make the choice as to whether or not if you are willing to take the risks it could potentially involve.

I've bought fish, snails, and plants on aquabid and been pleased with all. Different sellers each time. If you're familiar with the way you measure risk on eBay (check seller feedback, research closed and similar auctions, etc.) you should be able to do similarly on aquabid.

I heard that some sellers on aquabid will photoshop their fish to make them look better, but that's about it.

ive bought from that crazy guy lots o fish, he has awesome deals on mixed lots. very good shipping. I use to be a vendor on aquabid too
