Picked up 6 baby neon tetras to speed up my tank's cycle today and forgot how large the intake holes to my AC 110 were. Anyways, I set them free into their new home with the other larger fish, went to the gym, came back to my brother asking me where my new fish were... Well, I went in to look at my tank and saw 1 of the 6 tetras, so I looked around for a bit, turned the room light on to see around the tank a bit better, and what do I see? 5 baby tetras swimming around under the foam filter in my AC. Maybe larger tetras would have been the way to go?
The good news is that they all survived the impeller!
