So i just seen at work we sell AquaClear 110 Power Filter for $89 or so, i think. Seen this does 500gph but i couldn't find much other info on it. Ive been told its very silent. One of my questions is, does it have an extender tube, i dont need to suck up my newly filtered water nor do i need to suck water off the surface, tho i really liked that idea. I dont want to be sucking up the clean water.

Extremely efficient filter! very quite. It should have and extension included. I run at least two of them on all of my tanks 55gallon and larger. I prefer to use them with only the foam block in them which is easy to clean when needed.

Great filter! It sucks up all water then after it is filtered it trickles back in the tank. One of the best filters out there for the buck!
