I prefer and would normally recommend canister filters. The Aquaclear 110 has a higher filtering capacity though, so I'd recommend it. The canister would hold more biomedia though. What is your stock, because that might make a difference.

Yes a tank up grade is in the future for them. They will be in this tank for about another 5 months at my best guess. Meeting with an Air Force Recruiter Tuesday so it will give me a better guess of how long.

Ok. Any idea when the sale ends? not 100% sure when I'll be getting this money its an early birthday present from my soon to be mother in law, Since I'll be in Basic Military Training for my birthday or Tech Training.
