AquaClear or Marineland Emperor

Which is a better filtration series in your opinions?

The Aquaclear series?
or
The Marineland Emporer Series?

Which one is worth more for the price etc.
please post replies because I'm unsure which oen to invest in to double up with my canisters on my tanks.

Aqua Clear the best for power filters you custamize it it durable has low energy consumption, and you do not have to keep buying those cartriges. it has gone up in price since I bought one .

i hav both the ac110 and the emperor 400 and i still like the Emperor better,
This has been asked many times before and i think it really boils down to a matter of opion. Both filters have there pros and cons.

But again im all for the Emperor all the way.

i jsut got a 110 and honestly, if you go to petco and get one for like $80 (+ or - a few) you just cant really beat it. 500gph is pretty good at that price imo

as far as series, i only like the emperor 280 and 400, the other biowheel from penguin is crap IMO. i think the aquaclear series is by far the most reliable, at least above average when it comes to design.

BUT i use the emperor the best
