Im thinking about getting an Aquacontroler Jr. for a new saltwater tank i am setting up.. i am thinking of getting this to save time on testing my water parameters... Any advice for me about these? Which has worked good with you? and any suggestions? im looking to spend under 300$ and the tank is only 55G, but hey i can always just switch it over to a bigger tank sumday! Is an aquacontroller really worth it in the long run? Thank you MFK'ers!

Bump.. anyone like the digitally automatic water parameter AQUACONTROLLERS???

good investment or not?

I'd like to get one for my planted tank, and for my pleco breeding tank, but unless you have very specific parameters to keep, or you want to keep track of params for breeding purposes, I think it would be a waste.

As an nerd/EE, i want one for my tank, but i have too much crap hanging off the back. Maybe when I upgrade and get a sump.

I'd take a survey of what is around. Personally, I'd check out this one: http://www.mcuresearch.com/ . It's got a web connection so you could check your tank online as well as ph/orp monitoring/control, high precision temp control, many light/wave configurations.

In fact, if you buy me one. I'll write you some nice code to do pretty much whatever you want. Think it over--it's a good deal.
