I'm not sure which one to get and I only have one light strip that houses one bulb. I have clown loaches and a flagtail in this tank so I would like to highlight the reds and oranges. I do not have any live plants either. Which one would suit me best? recommendations please!

Either.

When i want to highlight a certain color in a fish, i look at the spectrum graph on the box for the light. Usually light designed for plants are best to highlight reds and blues.

The AquaGlo is better at highlighting the colors you're interested in but is quite dim. The powerGlo will also highlight the colors your after but not as much so. It is however a much brighter bulb so your tank will be better lit.

With that said I very much like both of these bulbs for doing exactly what your trying to do. I have 2 48" PG's and 2 24" PG over my 125 and it makes my fish look fantastic. Even my Hoplarchus look very nice and they are a green fish. Look at the green color on the face of the fish in my avatar.

Another great bulb for highlighting reds, oranges and yellows is the AquariLux bulb from PennPlax. There again however it is not terribly bright.

go for the flora glo the full spectrum and the cheapist best 4 colurs of fish
i think life glo the best tho just a brite wight
