aqualibrium salt 10G tank dose?

i want to know what dosage (in teaspoon/tablespoon) i need to put in and how much how often, on packet it sais for illness, 0.9% over 3-4 days. how mnay tablespoons would that be?? i know it sais 3 table spoons but ive only got him in a 10G tank to heal so how much do i dose???

Dose if any, depends on what kind of fish you have. Most cichlids don't need any, for some, it's irritating and a stressor even lethal. If you're are treating for ich, a minimum of 3 ppt (parts per thousand) is needed.

I think it is a sick little (4inch?) Jaguar Cichlid.

If it's a jaguar just increase the temperatures to 86 degrees and skip the salt...

well yes, its a 4" male jag, i bought him yesterday he was beaten with shredded fins but when i looked today all the rotted bits were walling off and the scales which he had which were injured have all fallen off, i added half a tablespoon of salt.
