this is mainly aimed aquaman45 aquaman45 and the crew at Wharf aquatics, let me explain....

last night i got a call to go and sort out a tank for a family member that is terminal and can no long run it or maintain it. its only a small 30g community tank (or has always been that way). i got up there late last night to be greeted by a tank that had not be touch in a few weeks except for water changes my wifes been doing since she got up there 3 weeks ago to care for the family member. I was told i could have the tank etc but it needed to be cleared for space for the nurses etc to be able to move around the hospital bed.

long short, I found a home for most of the occupant with another family member who also keeps a community tank and i kept a gibbi that had no place in there but it happens. the last fish i had been sent a grainy picture of and I didnt know what it was until another member pointed me in the right direction as a Columbian catfish (Columbian shark??). well which ever shop said this would be ok in a 30g tank needs shutting down ( the family member doesn't even understand what the internet is) well i have nowhere for this fish but i would have had to make space for it if it had not been for the staff at wharf aquatics.

I called in (cause its rude to drive past it with out looking lol ) and explained what had happened and rather than turn me to the wind they took the fish and then gave me a credit note (even insisted on it ) towards a few cheeky purchases i had plan on making before all this happened. for me its the best part of 300miles round trip to the shop and the guys always happy to help and make sure the fish i buy are sorted for the journey home, and i know who ever comes in to buy the Columbian shark will be well aware of what it is and its requirements. top blokes everyone there...

cheers again its hard to find a good quality old school fish shop these days and you guys are worth the fuel every time.

It's nice to hear it ended well and they took care of you.
