Aquanetics UV

a very nice guy gave me a Aquanetics UV Sterilier today-

has anybody used one of these?

What can you tell me about them?

it is brand new, never used....??? should I hook it up to my 110 gal planted tank?

Aquanetics well is a established company in San Diego. The owner passed and the company was sold. My buddy has purchased the intellectual property of their design and all remaining inventory. They make many different sizes so you need to be more specific. How many watts? I've used their UV in the past and seem to do well. If I'm not mistaken the bulbs are not like the 4 pin ones in todays standard UV. They actually have two pins on each end which is a pain because you have to access both ends of the unit.
