Greetings,
I am working with a friend who is publishing a book of paintings of tropical fish. The book will be titled "Wild" and feature paintings of seventy-five fish species. I am looking for comments (just a couple sentences - 30/40 words) about keeping these species of fish in your home aquaria (breeding, feeding, observations), anything that might be of interest to a home aquarist. Among the fish are our favorites...cichlids.
Here's a sample of his work:
Looking for comments on the following fish.
Earth Eater Geophagus altifrons
Redhead Severum Heros sp. 'rotkeil'
Agassiz Dwarf Cichlid Apistogramma agassizii
African Butterfly Cichlid Anomalochromis thomasi LC
Jewel Cichlid Hemichromis cristatus LC
Polleni Large-Spot Cichlid Paratilapia polleni VU
Flavescent Peacock Aulonocara stuartgranti LC
Lemon Cichlid Neolamprogus leleupi LC
Electric Blue Hap Sciaenochromis fryeri LC
If you have any, please post them. Any comments used will be credited with your name in the book. Thanks in advance.
