Has anyone built a bar around their aquarium or embedded? My 535g sprung a leak a couple years back and I had to get rid of it. My wife wants to use that area for a bar, and I want to push a fish tank there. The deal is I can put my fish tank if we can incorporate a bar. I don't think anything crazy like running water to the bar. More thinking of doing a 8x3 or 8x4. I will run an internal HMF filter only, which means all stand space is free. I was then thinking of closely the stand frame nicely and embedding wine and drink fridge underneath, and maybe some shelving on the walls for bottles and glasses. Just curious if anyone else has done that. Was thinking of trying to enclose the tank, but I am worried about the need to get inside the tank.

Sounds like a fun idea! I would personally have a tank behind the bar as a conversation piece and the ease of doing water changes as well as plumbing. But if you were to make it and have a flat top on top i dont see why not.
