I saw this product in an issue of Aquarium Fish Monthly. It is an APGV-100 produced by The Ancient Mariner Inc. Just wondering if anyone has used this product and can give me some reviews. Apparently it vacuums the gravel and detoxifies the water at the same time with no waste water.(www.theancientmarinerinc.com) Thanks in advance for the help.

A little pricey for a cartridge or cannister filter, but a nice all-in-one product. Now if it ran the water thru cel-pore and purigen or other resins not just a paper filter & carbon, you'd really have something.
Gravel washing secret is the Large lift pipe, it suspends the gravel but won't suck it up into the filter.

Yeah, you could likely do the same thing for less money with a Magnum 350 canister filter. You can pick one of those up pretty cheap online from time to time.

good looking product but i think ill rig up a mag hot or 350 but im waiting for info on the comercial one might be worth it
