I have a 55 gallon tank set up with an aquaclear 110 hang on the back filter, e live 10 plant filter and air pump connected to an air stone. Right now, I just have some cardboard on top of it as temporary lids. I have bought some plexiglass to serve as a lid before I build a canopy but how can I ensure proper oxygen exchange? Of course there will be some space made for the water to re-enter the tank, but how can I create a lid that provides prevention of evaporation without smothering the fish? Thanks in advance.
