hey all i know most of us uses egg create to customize our tank dividers.. now how do you secure it to the glass tank walls?? i have brought different types of clips but only 4 works well.. i would like to have your suggestions on which clip are nice and secured for my rays not to knock it down.. or DIY divider would be good...

tbh i havnt found anyone selling eggcrate near me and from what im told they are generally quite small sheets anyhow.

i "borrowed" some crates that shops receive bread in (breadbaskets / breadcrate whatever you want to call them) took a jigsaw to the sides leaving me with several large panels.
i made the front partition and then run two extra partitions down the sides to stop it moving. it obscures your view but depending on how you have your tank it could still work and if your stuck then its very handy ( it was for me at least and saved a female from being ravaged to the point of death ) .

ive also used large suckers to hold pannels in place just used lots of them on both sides of the partition on each of the edges that meet the glass. thing with suckers is that you generally have a few fall off and have to keep replacing them.

glass cleaning magnets are a very good option . just use in place of the suckers. a little more expensive though.

good luck :)

I cut it to fit snug against the glass, but also notch it to grip the top frame, also add vertical pieces placed perpendicular to provide support, and horizontal pieces on the bottom which rocks are laid on for more security.

Below is the top notch
