hastings
basically this is a thread just to see all of our ambitions for aquariums in the future heres mine i hope i get a big enough basement so i could fill it up with shelves with tanks on them all over the room filled with both freshwater and saltwater and have a massive freshwater one to fill it up with 1 arowana a pair of oscars and a baramundi lets he all of ures dreams and ambitions for your aquariums

Not to be mean but do a search , i have seen a few of these Threads about over past year or so .

But basicly mine is a massive Amazon Bio' tank , with Silver Awo' then loads of SA' Cichlids , Catfish and Pleco . ( No plants just setup with wood , sand and rocks ) .

Then a very large planted Amazon Bio' tank with Angel fish , Discus , SA' tetra and other SA' peaceful schooling fish , SA' catfish and Pleco . ( Full of plants with a mixed sand and gravel bottom along with wood and rocks ) .

A very large semi planted R'B'P' tank . ( Sand bottom , a mixture of hardy plants and a few rocks ) .

A massive CA' Tank . ( With a sand and gravel mixture bottom along with round river rocks ) .

A large Malawi Cichlid tank . ( full of round river rock and a sand bottom ) .

A very large Oddball tank . ( Full of all diffrent fish from all around the world people nickname as Oddballs ) .

A massive Reef tank . ( Just basicly to replicate a large Reef that you would see out in the wild ) .

Saying all this tho is one big dream , and if won the lottery and bought a massive house to get all these tanks this will not happen in my life time . :(

Mine is built a 59inch long by 36 wide and 20 high tank this summer if i get the cash for it

Dreams:

Real: extend the house, build a 500-600g tank for gouramis to grow old in
Unreal: win the lottery and have something like Johnptcs or mags prima tanks

Realistic: 150 gallon with my common pleco and SA fish like larger pims and cichlids
Unreal: 2000 gallon aquarium with a monster horde of common plecos, pacu and an adonis pleco
Real (eventually) 2000 gallon with RTC and adonis pleco.
Real (eventually) Pbass tank with Adonis pleco

Realistic dreams:1.Get a SW tank with a snowflake eel or a lionfish or both if they're compatible(saw em together on youtube, not sure if they work long term yet). Can't go reef cus I can't afford the setup and the price of corals

2.Get a nicely planted tank with a ton of ghost shrimp and small fish that won't eat the shrimp like neon tetras. A 55g will be big enough to house lots of them, and ghost shrimp are cheaper than red cherry shrimp. I would like a variety of SA/CA cichlids but no space

3.Barebottom discus tank, then planted with something grass-like that will cover the whole tank once they grow

Crappy goals lol

2000g pond for gars and rays. 125g for shrimp!!! 40g, 90g for tanks, and probably a few more tanks for crays. and last but not least a 12' by 12' enclosure with at least 1000g of water, the rest land, part of water is in a cave under the land. anyways the enclosure is complicated but would house a dwarf caiman.

unrealistic..... hmmm..... 100,000g tank for gars and rays. and a bigger enclosure for the caiman.

10-15 snakehead tanks on a rack
Sepia bandensis tank
Sepia officinalis tank
500 gallon super-long tank divided many many times for a collection of stomatopods
Octopus tank
20 tanks of caudates on a rack (Axolotls, firebellies, terrestrial sals)
A corn snake
A caecillian tank
A garter snake
A yellowspotted amazon river turtle
A big terrarium with frogs
A macroalgae tank
A huge reef tank
a 100 unit betta rack
500 gallon oddball system
500 gallon pred system
50 gal Metasepia pfefferi
Frogfish tank
Big cichlid tank
Malawi tank
200 gal planted
