That looks like it would get hammered and destroyed by anything remotly agressive as soon as they got used to it being in the tank.

is the recording device outside the tank or inside? I can't exactly see "your favorite Dovii" accepting a new roommate....if I still had my male Midas it would just be one more thing to add to his "i hate this and will spend all day everyday trying to destroy it" list, along with heaters, filter intakes, siphon hoses, fingers, rocks, gravel.........lol. Unless the actual part that does the recording is safely outside the tank, I think it might just end up being a waste of money
