Aquarium fish caught while angling.

Now, I don't suggest releasing fish into the wild is a good idea, in fact it’s a terrible idea for a whole bunch of reasons we don't need to get into here, as I’m sure we are all aware of the harm it can do. But I am still fascinated by stories of aquarium fish caught.

For me, the only thing I ever saw was a large blueish barb or cyprinid swiming happily along a sand bank.

So lets hear them,... the stories of fish caught that is. Post pics if you have them.

I don't have pics but I was shown an article in a local paper of a 5lb 14inch pirahna caught in a lake here in Louisiana, won't catch me skinny dipping out there. Lady caught it on a night crawler

Yeah the article had a picture on it of some guy holding it, maybe the lady husband I guess? so I was hoping I could find a link to put on here but no such luck yet. I'll keep searching. I'm sure members from Florida should have some good stories .... this thread could get interesting.
