My 75 gallon tank leaked out, so I have been keeping my haps temporarily in a divided 40 gallon tank, and I was going to set up my spare 55 gallon tank for them today, but I realized that the frame is cracked in two places, it's cracked on both of the corners on the back of the tank. Is it safe to use? I'm going to hold off on setting it up until I know if it's safe to fill up or not.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Here are some pictures of the cracks. There are two cracks, one on each back corner. Is the tank safe to fill up/use, or should I get a new tank?

I wouldn't use that. 55gallons on the floor won't be a good time. Look on Craig's List, a local fish club or fbook sales group. Its pretty common to find 55s for sale in good shape
