Where do you guys get yours? i need roughly 100 lbs of it for my 125g tank and my local walmart only has 25lb bag in brownish , tan. The only other close place is an outlet pet store and i have to order it and pick it up there, its like 2$ a lb.

I would use sand but it has a custom valve on the bottom and when you take water out the sand would go through.

i got 50lbs for my 6x1.5x1.5. it barley covers. i got it from walmart for like 32 bucks total.

Yep, that would work. The only drawback is that it's usually dirty right out of the bag. I have a designated gravel washing kitchen strainer just for this purpose.

well thats not bad, just rinseing it out, it was a pain cleaning all that sand for my 55g tank, and carrying it from the backyard to my room (farthest room away)
