I've been dealing with a very noisy mag drive pump for a while now. I've replaced the impeller once thinking it was that but it wasn't. I thought something got caught inside so I took it apart...totally clean. So I picked up a new maxijet 5500 my friend had extra and swapped it out. Apart from a slight hum it is totally silent! Awesome pump, plus it pumps way more gph than the danner and was much cheaper.

I will...eventually. I am working on building the tank into the wall. So right now my cat can get behind the tank and I don't want it munching on the pothos. But soon. Lol. Be patient.
