Wish it were closer. I have a bunch of snook/trimacs and one big SRT I need to sell.
Anybody ever been to one of these? how does it go? Does everything end up selling for cheap?
Are there alot of hybrid Debby Downers? Whats the atmosphere? Something unexpected most people encounter?

Sorry for the derail OP.

hey camshaft

i have been to the monthly auctions/meeting. everyone is real friendly and there is not any reall pressure to join or participate in anything. they usualy only have 1-2 tables at the monthly meetings and i heard theres alot more at the yearly auction. most of the people are home breeders so the fish seem to be really healthy and fetch a good price since there are alot of older people in the crowd that dont mind spending to get quality fish. ill be there on the 24th and there seems to be a few other poeple talking about it on the Monster fish keepers of florida subforum. i couldnt tell you what hybreds will go for cause i have never seen a hybrd for sell there....
