My water is clear as day and I just cleaned the filters two days ago but for some reason my front room smells strong like fish ... Any ideas why? It's like I'm dropping straight aquarium water in my nose lol

check for fish that might have jumped ship, might be rotting at the back or something; either that or check for dead snails, I discovered a couple in my tank and the smell was ungodly

^ i agree, check around your tanks etc, or for possible leftover food (if you feed meaty foods) / dead snails / fish in the tank...

-edit-

Also, do you use any water condtioners? Since i've heard of them at times making tanks smell a little funny...

As Oddball suggested, increase the volume and frequency of your water changes. Check under glass covers to make sure there's no food rotting there. You may also be over feeding.

Okay n yeah I use water conditioners and stuff like that plus I'm using some national geographic brand of ich treatment that's all natural or something but now my gar is getting ich so I'm going to go get a better heater n raise the tank temps n do the 1tbs of salt per gallon trick n see if that works. Ich is a pain in the butt to get rid of.... How can I feed a gar without having to use those nasty petsmart feeders?

It used to stink in my living room after feeding my hermit crabs. I cut back on the amount of food and it's been ok since.

is the room carpeted. Sure you are not having small spills that are adding up.

All tile thank god lol I would hate to have carpet. I'll clean around the tank today n see if that changes anything but I think it may be one of my filters giving off the smell to be honest

Yeah you are probably right
