I am moving soon and bringing all my aquariums with me. Unfortunately I don't have enough room to fit all my aquariums in non carpeted room so I was wondering if it would be okay to put a L shaped custom aquarium on carpeted flooring on the second floor. My concern is it's 3' long by only 1'' wide and 18" tall with a reasonably sturdy base I built myself. Should I also be worried about it on the second floor with the weight. It's about 55 gallons and weighs about 600-650 pounds and because it's tall puts quite a bit of pressure on a small area although the house was built in 1910 and is very sturdy.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about a 55gal. A house built in 1910 is probably better built than most houses built nowadays.
