Hey dears,
here in Egypt we have bad aquarium products as the suppliers brings cheapest products from china
If we found any good brand then it's price would be choking
My nephew lives in Texas
So can he find me some aquarium equipments at the black Friday with low price then send it to me??
Can any one help me with that?
If any info about store or web page with good deals to get some aquarium needs??
Thank you

I'm sure he can. Sorry to hear how rough you have it! I haven't got any specific suggestions but have him do a quick google search, tons of companies have black friday sales. Even a lot of deals on Amazon.com. May need a list of exactly what items you're wanting like filters or heaters or chemicals etc. Im sure a few people here can help you out.

Be sure to double check both the voltage and Hz of any electrical products you want to use in your country before purchasing them from the U.S. and online M moon75 . If I'm not mistaken, Egypt uses 220V and 50 Hz so I'm doubtful you'll find any common aquarium products from the U.S. that fit that criteria.

I wonder if this idea is actually worthwhile pursuing. As pointed out by D deeda , compatibility of equipment may be an issue. Even if it isn't, shipping from the U.S. to Egypt can't be inexpensive, and if you are talking about any type of mechanical/electrical/electronic gear, you will be left with no warranty recourse if something develops a problem. At the very least, I would think that looking to companies located in Europe would probably be a bit more logistically and fiscally reasonable than shipping across the Atlantic.

Yeah, you could still get some decent deals on media and food and stuff but you'd have to save a lot to make up shipping cost

The only commercial products I buy from aquarium companies, are pumps, test kits, and tanks (and tanks are almost always picked up second hand)
Most everything else , it is made from materials from the hardware store.
For me, filters are almost always much better if they are DIY sumps, made from used tanks, hardware store PVC, and where media comes from a garden center,
I found i could also get test kits from hardware, or pool supply stores.
When I lived in a cold climate, I did buy heaters though, now in Panama, having things shipped from friend would be very expensive.
