Found a 110g tall glass tank and stand on the side of the road. Filled her up and she holds water. Seals seam to be good but the plastic surround on the top and bottom is cracked badly. Does this effect the rigidity or stability of the tank and would it be smart to have it resealed just in case (since I don't know how old the tank is exactly)? If so, does anyone know of a company/person in the Monmouth/Ocean County area that does it? Thanks.

Hard to speak on the condition of the plastic top trim without seeing it so post some clear photos if you can....as for resealing you may not have to have that done but I know of a person who probably could do it......you.
Plenty of members here have resealed their tanks myself included as it is fairly easy to do once you understand what has to be done. There are threads here on how to do it as well as detailed youtube videos.I used the videos as a tutorial to get me going when my tank sprung a leak a few years ago.
But first I would fill the tank with water and let it sit for a few days before going that route.
