Aquarium safe?

I built a DIY cave for my fishies out of pvc, eggcrate, hot glue, and painted with krylon fusion... the paint has set ( over 24 hours) and i painted over the hot glue (which was already non toxic) and I now have the DIY cave soaking in a tub of water just to be safe in case any toxins were present they can leak into waste water and not my aquarium... so basically was it safe once the paint set already and soaking it just a waste of time? or soak it over night just to be safe? other suggestions?

Just wanted to add, I have done research and seen where others have used these same "ingredients" on things they put into their aquariums... I just can't seem to figure the timeline or the best way to ensure that I dont put in a bunch of toxins to my fish... thanks in advance!

Thank you! Will do very soon! Just wanted to hear from someone out there that it was safe immediately... but its already soaked overnight now so i guess the added safety factor isn't so much of a bad thing!
