Is Aquarium salt bad for snails. I recently baught 5 and lost 3 and was wondering if its the salt. Thanks for any infos

Slugs do not like salt, slugs die from salt. Snails are slugs. Snails don't like salt!

Snails can tolerate salt for ich treatment and duration, although they often are quite stressed by it. They would not like salt in the tank as a constant. There are several reasons you could have lost them. How were they acclimated? Were they healthy at purchase?

apple snails are not efficient algae eaters. They require a calcium rich diet of veggiese or prepared foods. Are you certaint hey were dead? Did they stink? Its not uncommon for them to be dormant when introduced to a new tank.

I just saw them hanging out of there shell like lifeless but maybe they could of been still alive.

Smell them and if they smell rotten, throw them. I agree with Rachel. They tend to be dormant unless you can already smell bad odor which indicates the snail is already dead. Failing to remove them quickly will result in foul water and high level of ammonia which coud potentially kill other inhabitants.
